Over the past 15 years, Sunbelt’s relationship with Trackunit has deepened, evolving from basic tracking needs to comprehensive utilization and maintenance insights that help to improve its customer relations. 

“Through our partnership with Trackunit, we are enabling a better end-to-end experience for our customers through data,” says Sunbelt’s Jenna Reed. “That means making sure that we have equipment uptime, and we’re getting ahead of equipment ever going down.”

Driving success

Trackunit’s telematics solutions have helped Sunbelt revolutionize its fleet management capabilities. Trackunit Manager serves as the central platform for aggregating and analyzing data from IoT devices like Trackunit Raw and Spot. These technologies provide equipment vitals and utilization data, helping Sunbelt respond quickly and proactively.

“Specialty equipment is a large focus because it supports our emergency response teams and special events where we are providing energy.,” says Sunbelt’s Director of Connected Asset Product Management. “We need to know that we are supporting the grid and making sure those areas have power.”

An exciting prospect is the integration of Trackunit’s Emissions Reporting tool into its operations. Emissions Reporting would help Sunbelt collect, track, and reduce emissions across its extensive fleet, aligning operational practices with sustainability targets.
