Beam Solutions, Gateway Product
Beam is a new Trackunit product range that compliments your equipment connectivity. The Gateway is the first Beam product being offered to extend coverage for Bluetooth Tags devices on site.
Installation
Install Gateways when you want dedicated connectivity in key site locations. Gateways boost your real-time Bluetooth coverage footprint amplifying the impact and benefits of Kin, or other third-party tags.
Gateways are designed to be installed flexibly and quicky and operate on shore (AC) power of 120/220V, and also support 12VDC power in. Simply plug it in, and configure it in Trackunit Manager and you are ready to go.
Use case
Tags transmit data through machinery that is equipped with Trackunit Raw devices or personnel using the Trackunit Go mobile app. Depending on your specific situation at the site, your overall coverage and data frequency delivered from tags can vary.
Gateways communicate with Trackunit Iris working seamlessly alongside equipment and mobile apps to bring Tag data to you transparently within your existing Manager account.
You can create custom names for Gateway installations in targeted site locations – right down to assigning floor numbers
