We’ve been creating new Alerts for Trackunit Manager that help you setup powerful notifications based on different trigger conditions, and our latest alert is the Movement-Based Theft Alert. A digital punch card for equipment, Movement-Based Theft Alerts notify fleet administrators when assets are moved outside of the assigned jobsite working hours.
If the jobsite working hours (aka the asset’s working hours) end at 5pm, and the asset moves – even within the jobsite’s perimeter – the alert is triggered. This alert is based on GPS data, which means it will be triggered even if the asset is not powered on, or moving on its own (e.g. if it’s loaded onto a truck and is driven away).
