New updates make it easier to manage accounts, assets, and permissions, giving admins more control and flexibility in Trackunit Manager.
We’re excited to announce new options for managing sub-accounts, bringing us three steps closer to achieving Classic parity in Account Management. Starting today, Admins can set an account’s preferred language to enhance user accessibility, view the number of owned and visible assets directly within the Accounts menu for a quick and clear overview of asset distribution, and delete sub-accounts under specific conditions. These updates aim to help keep your organization’s structure up to date.

Historically, the ability to initiate shares and transfers has been limited to the current owner of an asset, so we’ve introduced a new account flag to help support your team. The ‘administrative account’, typically assigned to the top-level account by default, has elevated permissions and can perform these actions without needing to log in as the asset owner.
This role can also be reassigned within the account hierarchy if necessary. To initiate a transfer, the administrative account must have previously owned the asset and still maintain visibility of it.

Manually tracking progress and maintaining visual records can be a challenge. With our new ‘Images for Sites’ feature, you can capture and centralize key visuals to stay informed on every project. Whether it’s checking the current state of a site, tracking construction progress over time, or evaluating space for infrastructure setup, all images—complete with file names and upload dates—are organized in one place. Gain real-time insights and make informed decisions faster with this powerful new feature.

Our new Community series, Mastering Manager, published a video in Q4 2024 that highlights the best past to success when using Sites in Trackunit Manager. This short video outlines how to create a Site, the different types of classifications for Sites, and how to read the Sites dashboard.
