Exclusively for Caterpillar Dealers

One feed. Every Allied asset.
Visible in VisionLink.

Your Cat dealers run mixed fleets. Trackunit connects every non-Cat asset — regardless of OEM — directly into VisionLink, giving your dealers one unified view across their entire fleet. No more jumping between dashboards. No more blind spots. Just complete visibility, right where they already work.

FAQs

Questions about the program?
We've got the answers.

What are the details of this partnership?

Caterpillar and Trackunit have partnered to bring our mutual goal of creating a 100% connected fleet to the Cat dealer network. This program will enhance the operational scope of VisionLink to include telematics data from your entire Allied fleet, regardless of OEM. With this partnership, dealers will no longer need to managing multiple dashboards and connections. Everything you need on will be integrated into VisionLink, giving you access to all your data on a single platform.

Any brand whose machines are connected via Trackunit devices are supported — including Genie, Weiler, and others in the Allied ecosystem. The data available per brand varies by OEM; the minimum includes J1939 engine data and GPS. Contact Trackunit for a full list of supported makes and available data fields.
No. This program is designed to avoid double billing. You are paying for data visibility and a managed integration service, not a duplicate OEM subscription. If you have assets on an active OEM Works With program, those fees remain as-is. This program covers Allied assets that flow through Trackunit.
Yes. The default configuration shares all assets, but you can selectively exclude individual machines during onboarding. Note that changes after initial setup may require contacting Trackunit support to update your data sharing configuration.
Asset ownership transitions are managed at the Trackunit account level. When an asset is transferred, the data association follows the new owner’s account. Temporary rental sharing scenarios are out of scope for Phase 1 — for rental-specific workflows, contact your Trackunit CSM.
No, the goal of this program is to compliment VisionLink with other OEM data. Trackunit adds non-CAT Allied assets to your VisionLink view — it does not replace any existing direct CAT machine feeds. If you already have individual ISO feed integrations set up, Trackunit and CAT will work with you to avoid duplication.

The program is designed for the approximately 150 CAT dealers globally. Initial rollout prioritizes dealers and select larger corporate accounts. Contact your CAT Digital or Trackunit representative to confirm your region’s availability status.

The feed includes 150+ normalized data points per asset: GPS/location, utilization hours, fault codes, CAN/J1939 engine data, and make/model/serial number metadata. Raw sensor data and advanced diagnostics are included where available from the connected device.
Yes. This program connects assets that already have Trackunit telematics devices installed. If your Allied machines are not yet equipped, contact your Trackunit representative about retrofitting options or the Works With OEM program for factory-fit installations.

“We wanted the best telematics solution for the cost, giving customers the data they need. It needed to be simple, easy, and allow us how to communicate and get the best information possible. To have Trackunit as part of our arsenal is a game changer”
