That\u2019s why <strong>Trackunit service plan management<\/strong> in Manager helps you automate this critical part of your fleet operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this Mastering Manager video, we show you how to set up service plans, assign them to assets, and connect the right service providers to keep everything on schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you open the Service Management app in Trackunit Manager, you\u2019ll see a complete overview of your fleet\u2019s current service status. From there, you can quickly identify which assets are covered, what\u2019s due, and what\u2019s overdue. You can also customize your dashboard to focus on the most relevant service data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Creating a service plan is simple:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Name your plan and add one or more services.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose service types such as <strong>time-based<\/strong>, <strong>hour-based<\/strong>, or <strong>calendar-based<\/strong> maintenance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set recurrence rules and warning periods (e.g., 50 hours before the next 500-hour inspection).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Combine service types for more flexible triggers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Once your plan is ready, assign it to assets via the <strong>Assignments<\/strong> tab. You\u2019ll also assign a service provider\u2014either your own account or another authorized account within your organization. You can set different plan start dates per asset to align with previous maintenance schedules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After assigning plans, Manager automatically tracks service cycles, provides alerts, and maintains a service history for each asset.
